Waiting on a new layshaft and adaptor bracket to mount the engine to the bell housing. I was expecting to have my first race at Watkins Glen next week but that’s not going to happen, and *everything* I’m trying to work on is on hold until these parts get in. I’m frustrated and tired of sitting around with my thumb up my ass but I can’t think of what to do.

Unfortunately, I’m only D class as I haven’t focused much on actual official races but just practices I can fit in until I was good enough to race more.
I was almost thinking of heading into Skippy, though I can be swayed other directions :)

Good luck! Any chance of making the next one at VIR? It doesn’t sound like there’s much to go besides final assembly.

Well once we get the adapter bracket then we need to cut and re-weld the engine mounts. Then it’s pretty much just re-assembly and a few little things like finding a new dash, making a seat, etc. I hope we can make it to VIR but it’s only two weeks after the Glen so I’m not sure.
